"The central government has given great support to the life and culture of Macao residents with Portuguese ancestors (since Macao's return to the motherland)," said José Chan Rodrigues, a youth representative of Macao-born Portuguese. He said the "one country, two systems" practice in Macao is an opportunity to let the world learn more about Macao residents with Portuguese ancestors. "We fully support 'one country, two systems' and hope the unique culture of Macao could be better promoted under the framework," he added.
