Yueqing Public Transport Operation Co Ltd is located at No 226 of Qianfan West road, the prosperous section of Chengnan street, Yueqing city. It undertakes the core power supply of the urban public transport system. The high-voltage power facilities provide charging services for the huge electric bus fleet, which is a solid backing for green travel. During the hot summer, these high-voltage equipment are frequently challenged, and tripping events occur from time to time.

At 12:00 on Aug 12, the high-voltage equipment tripped again. When the State Grid Wenzhou Power Supply Company came to know of the situation, it immediately provided "electricity steward" on-site service to check the high-voltage equipment. After troubleshooting, the transformer of the company was found emitting a peculiar smell, and the high-voltage transformer had scorching traces. Through the acquisition system, it was found that the power load of the transformer was too high at noon, and the high-voltage equipment frequently tripped due to high temperature and no cooling system was installed. To rectify this, the company actively docked with users, replaced faulty power facilities and upgraded cooling measures. And at the same time, promoted the intelligent transformation of charging stations, introduced advanced charging technology and management system, improved charging efficiency and safety, further accurately grasped the operation status of charging stations through real-time monitoring and data analysis, timely found and solved problems, and ensured that the normal charging needs of electric buses were met.

With the integrated development of urban and rural public transport, Yueqing has nearly 1,000 public transport vehicles, of which electric buses account for 70 percent. Except for the buses running in mountainous areas, the electrification rate has reached 100 percent.
