Grape picking provides a new form of entertainment

With the arrival of summer, grapes gradually ripen, making grape picking a popular weekend activity in some areas.

Guanxian county in Shandong province has established a special Grape Town Tourist Area. Here, visitors can pick grapes, relax, savor local farm specialties and experience rural life. The area also offers activities such as fishing, adventure games, countryside camping, dining and homestays.

Additionally, there are parent-child educational activities and outdoor team-building exercises. These programs enrich the county's offerings, providing tourists with a more enjoyable picking experience.

Suntuan Vineyard in Chongwen residential district of Guanxian county is one such destination where tourists can enjoy the idyllic scenery while experiencing the pleasure of grape picking. According to vineyard staff, the best season for picking grapes is from mid-May to early June, and multiple varieties of grapes can be picked here.
