9 years of development for Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei

Beijing has made solid progress in the relocation of non-capital functions

Since 2014, Beijing has removed nearly 3,000 manufacturing enterprises and enterprises with pollution problems out of the city and relocated about 1,000 markets and logistics centers.

The first batch of landmark relocation projects were gradually settled and constructed in Xiong'an New Area. The main structure of the China Satellite Network Group headquarters project has been capped, and the headquarters projects of Sinochem Holdings Corporation and China Huaneng Group are accelerating construction.

China Mineral Resources Group has registered and located its headquarters in the new area. The first four relocated universities and two relocated hospitals have been selected. Beijing has supported the construction of kindergartens, primary schools and middle schools, and more than 140 institutions of centrally administrated State-owned enterprises have been established in the new area.

A number of market-based relief projects are also progressing in an orderly way. On Nov 23, 2022, the unveiling and launch ceremony of the industrial cluster of China Railway Group was held in Xiong'an New Area, which is the first industrial cluster of central SOEs settled in Xiong'an New Area.
