Over 900 enterprises to take part in cultural, tourism exhibition during CIFTIS

Over 900 enterprises will participate in the cultural and tourism exhibition held both online and offline during the 2022 China International Fair for Trade in Services, which takes place from Aug 31 to Sept 5, the Beijing Youth Daily reported on Friday.

Themed "Digitalization Empowers Cultural Tourism Development, Culture Creates a Better Life", this year's cultural and tourism exhibition will have two display areas at No 1 and No 2 halls in the Shougang Park, and for the first time set the Belt and Road Initiative live-broadcasting room to promote cultural trade exchanges among countries and regions involved in the BRI.

In addition, more than 60 activities such as art performances and experiential programs for the intangible cultural heritage will be held at the two halls.

The exhibitors will display the new scenarios and new business forms of the culture and tourism industry through metaverse, and the visitors will see cultural creativities created through holographic projection, artificial intelligence, virtual reality and augmented reality.

Besides, 10 cultural industry parks will show their remolds from old factories by light devices, the Beijing People's Art Theater will perform online, as well as new cultural landmarks with Beijing characteristics, night cultural tourism consumption scenes, and parent-child, camping, self-driving and other tourism holiday products will be displayed during the 2022 CIFTIS.

Twenty-eight museums and 14 enterprises in cultural and creative service from Beijing also will display more than 680 creative products.
