Giants join hands to promote electronic music

Chace, the first Chinese disc jockey to play on the main stage of Tomorrowland — one of the world's most popular electronic music festivals — announced the release of his first solo album Belated Suffocations as part of a latest cooperation signed by two entertainment giants Live Nation and Universal Music Group.

On May 27, Live Nation announced that its Asian electronic dance music division, Live Nation Electronic Asia, has entered into a multiyear global licensing and distribution agreement for its recently launched Fabled Records label. Dedicated to supporting the next generation of Chinese electronic music and artists, LNEA is partnering with global dance label Astralwerks and Capitol Records China, both divisions of Universal Music Group, the world's leading music-based entertainment company.

Under the new agreement, Astralwerks and Capitol Records China will collaborate on the global release and distribution of Fabled Records artists and projects globally.

Chace, a 24-year-old native from East China's Jiangsu province, released In My Head, the lead single of his first solo album, on Friday. "Having been on the cultural exchange mission for so long, my debut album is finally coming. I'm excited for the world to hear what I have to offer and I am thrilled to have the team at Astralwerks and Capitol Records China on board," said Chace.
