The smooth running of the Beijing Winter Paralympics and the efforts of BOCOG have also impressed the International Paralympic Committee (IPC).
Craig Spence, the IPC's chief brand and communications officer, said there have been very few issues at all at the Games so far.
"The chefs de mission have all been very complimentary about the running of these Games and the care of the athletes. So congratulations to the organizing committee," said Spence.
