The annual lantern show at Yuyuan Garden in Shanghai kicked off recently with tiger-themed lantern installations illuminating the main plaza.
The tiger is the zodiac animal for the upcoming Chinese New Year which falls on Feb 1.
The annual lantern festival at Yuyuan Garden is a traditional celebration of the Lunar New Year that draws visitors from around the country to soak in the festivities and wish for good luck in the new year.
