Beijing Stock Exchange ignites passion for selected layer

The average number of stock subscribers for the first five shares floating at the selected layer of the new third board in the Beijing Stock Exchange surged to 185,200, China Fund reported quoting their issuing results on Wednesday.

This year, before floating the first five shares, the number of subscribers for any new share floating at the selected layer of the new third board had never surpassed 60,000, except for JLFiber with 64,200.

Guangmai Technology, the most popular one among the five new shares, attracted as many as 197,100 subscribers, with a subscription multiple as high as 193.72 times, and a winning rate at only 0.52 percent. Guangzi International, which has the lowest number of subscribers, also has 165,900. The average success rate for the five new shares was 0.87 percent.

Investors' enthusiasm for the selected layer has risen, and market expectations have become better due to the open of the Beijing Stock Exchange.

Since Sept 3 in the wake of news of the establishment of the Beijing Stock Exchange, 66 shares floating at the selected layer of the new third board surged with an average increase of 30.65 percent.
