Situated between downtown Guilin and Yangshuo county, the new hotel is just 40 kilometers away from the city's airport. It has integrated local customs and the landscape, as well as Dong ethnic culture, into its design.

A Four Points by Sheraton hotel opened its doors at the Qiandao Lake holiday resort in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province in June. It is the brand's debut in the area. Marriott International operates 15 hotels in Hangzhou, covering its 10 brands.
