Head of Azeri news agency congratulates China Daily

Aslan Aslanov, chairman of the board of Azerbaijan State News Agency, sent a congratulatory letter on behalf of himself and the staff of the news agency to China Daily on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the newspaper.

"The pleasant emotions that your milestone anniversary evoked in my heart, revived unforgettable moments I had at the editorial office of China Daily during my visit to Beijing," wrote Aslanov in the letter.

Aslanov also said that media outlets have played a crucial role in promoting the friendly relations between Azerbaijan and China.

The cooperation between AZERTAC and China Daily was launched since 2018. The two media platforms have implemented joint projects, including news exchange and training for journalists over the period.

"I am confident that the relations between AZERTAC and China Daily will continue to deepen in the coming years, and this cooperation will enrich the friendship between our countries and peoples with new shades," added Aslanov.

China Daily celebrated its 40th anniversary on June 1.

Launched on June 1, 1981, China Daily has grown into a global, multi-language, multi-media organization with newspapers, websites and apps serving more than 350 million readers around the world.
