Chinese mainland reports 12 new imported COVID-19 cases

BEIJING -- The Chinese mainland reported 12 new imported COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the total number of imported cases to 4,061.
Shanghai and Guangdong each reported three new imported cases. Among other cases, two were reported in Yunnan, and one each in Beijing, Tianjin, Fujian and Shandong, the National Health Commission said in its daily report Wednesday.
Among all the imported cases, 3,795 had been discharged from hospitals after recovery while 266 remained hospitalized, the commission said.
No deaths had been reported among the imported cases.
