Tour route around CIIE host venue launched

A themed tour route surrounding the host venue of the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai was launched on Sunday to mark the 150-day countdown to the third edition of the expo.

Co-launched by the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and the CIIE Bureau, the route links the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai) to the Greenland Global Community Trading Hub, the Hongqiao Import Commodity Exhibition and Trading Center and the main scenic areas in Qingpu District.

The route begins at the Expo venue, following the path that state leaders took at the opening ceremony of the expo. Following the expo venue, visitors can go on a shopping tour, either to the Greenland Global Community Trading Hub that provides over 50,000 kinds of imported goods from more than 50 countries and regions, or the Hongqiao Import Commodity Exhibition and Trading Center, which serves as a stage to architecture and antique auto shows.

The tour route are available on weekends.
