Chinese shares soar on Monday

Chinese stocks surged on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 2.28 percent at 2,983.62 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index closed 2.98 percent higher at 11,241.50 points.
The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, rose 3.72 percent to close at 2,146.18 points.
