Tangjia River: Safe haven for Eurasian otter

China's rivers and lakes once saw wide distribution of the Eurasian otter, an apex predator found in aquatic ecosystems. This cute but ferocious mammal had disappeared from our sight due to overhunting and habitat destruction.
