Soon the road left the main valley following a much smaller stream. I noticed how green the surrounding hills were appearing, suggesting higher rainfall. Ahead, a large "face" was painted on a cliff wall. Soon after, we pulled into Chusong. There, in that small administrative town, rose a modern middle school.
