High-scoring students face another roadblock

Gong Yujie, score: 623.4

Gong suffers from left thigh bone femoral head necrosis and has difficulty in walking. She loves fine arts, but her physical condition means she has to apply much more effort to study fine arts than others.

Although facing difficulties and study pressure, she still insists that her dream is to study fine arts, or as she puts it, "fine arts makes me happy".

She got a score of 623.4 and applied to Hubei Institute of Fine Arts.

The university said they never refused a disabled candidate before.
