Xi to speak at Marx commemoration event

Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Chinese president, will attend and make an address at a Friday commemorative event marking the 200th anniversary of the birth of Karl Marx.
The event will be held at the Great Hall of People on Friday morning, according to Xinhua news agency.
