SANYA, China - FINA President Julio Maglione said that China has been FINA's important partner at the welcome dinner for the FINA World Aquatics Gala.
Maglione told Xinhua on Friday that he was quite grateful to the Chinese authorities for giving lots of support to major FINA events.
The FINA World Aquatics Gala, regarded as the most authoritative award ceremony of the swimming world, will be held here on Saturday evening.
"The gala will bring a very unforgettable and joyous moment to everyone," said Maglione.
