The new S-Class comes with distinctive multi-beam LED headlamps, conveying a unique charm through three highly recognizable LED torches. Hubertus Troska, member of the board of management of Daimler AG, Mercedes Benz' parent company, said the lights are reminiscent of the three stripes top Chinese students used to receive.
When turned on, the headlamps are like a lighthouse at night, thanks to a best-in-segment lighting distance of around 650 meters.
They intelligently control each LED light source depending on the driving and road conditions in order to achieve fine beam distribution, increasing brightness while avoiding dazzling, to make driving even safer.
Also, its stardust taillights feature a unique reflective surface structure that emits light as beautiful as the stars overhead.
The new S-Class is also more majestic thanks to a new three-twin-louvres radiator grille design, boasting simple, modern lines to reflect the brand's "Sensual Purity" design philosophy, and a muscular new bumper design with curves that run across the grille, exuding extraordinary dynamism.

While integrating the best features of the previous generations, the new S-Class brings an unprecedented experience with its intelligent appointments.
It comes with the world's first energizing comfort control feature, which links together various comfort systems in the vehicle and offers six preset programs including freshness, warmth, vitality, joy, comfort, and training.
When a preset program is activated, air conditioning, ambient lighting, seat massage, ventilation and heating, music and fragrance can all be adjusted by the driver with a simple button press to easily create an ideal, comfortable space.
The new S-Class features best-in-segment 64-color ambient lighting, which brings different visual experiences via rich colors.
Additionally, the new three-spoke steering wheel, steering wheel touchpad, and dual 12.3 -inch high-definition displays let the driver take full control even more easily, creating a more futuristic cockpit.
The executive seats can be tilted backward up to 43.5 degrees and provide ample leg support, turning the rear into a first-class suite for full relaxation and rest. The air balance package includes a high-end air purifier able to filter out PM2.5 that brings a softer, quieter airflow experience.
Outstanding control: Intelligent Drive in strong force
A world-leading model requires a strong driving force.
The S 500 L 4MATIC's new inline six-cylinder engine, with a groundbreaking integrated electrical system, enables engine performance comparable to an eight-cylinder in terms of power performance, with significantly higher fuel efficiency.
Not to be outdone, the Mercedes-Maybach S 560 4MATIC features one of the world's most efficient V-8 engines, which can intelligently switch between four- and eight-cylinder operating modes under different driving modes and maintain excellent driving stability with a 9G-TRONIC system while improving riding comfort, acceleration, and fuel economy.
Moreover, the unique magic body control features a new function that allows the body to tilt to the inside of a turn by up to 2.65 degrees, thereby reducing centrifugal forces.
It also comes with road surface scan, which enhances monitoring in darkness and adjusts the suspension after detecting rough road surfaces ahead, maintaining a comfortable occupant experience.
Mercedes me connect delivers an expanded range of services, vehicle diagnostics, connectivity, navigation, travel consulting, mobile office and infotainment, with 12 additional services specifically for Chinese customers for a more premium and exclusive experience.
